The right would say (correctly) that they put in the work. They have been working with big moneyed interests for 50 years plus to dismantle the middle class and have built an infrastructure of propaganda to create and sow divisiveness. All of it has worked.

Ive been asking myself what it is they want, what they hope to achieve once republicans have unlimited and unending power. I am feeling like it will be the ultimate form of taxation without representation. At what point does Hell no we are not paying stop being so taboo? Ive heard Them Hartmann reprimand callers at this type of suggestion but when will we recognize it might be all we have?

I’m reminded of the Lowell poem/hymn “Oft to every man and nation comes the moment to decide, in the strife of Truth with Falsehood for the good or evil side.” That moment is upon us.
